Karaoke CDG (compact disc+graphics) is one of the most common types of karaoke discs. This format is also known as karaoke CD G, CD+G and CD+Graphics. Often CDGs are referred to as just karaoke CDs. Karaoke music CDGs look like a normal audio CD, but have code which displays song lyrics. There are no lead vocals on CD G karaoke discs, just the music and sometimes background vocals.
